Corpus Christi
Within a two hour drive Corpus Christi is the perfect day trip destination. There’s something for everyone; the history buffs can visit the U.S Slexington aircraft carrier and floating museum; the wildlife lovers can visit the Texas state Aquarium and the adrenaline junkies can find deep-sea fishing, surfing and kayaking in the city. And if none of that tickles your fancy, you can soak up the South Texas Coastal sun on the sandy North Beach. The whole family will be carted for at Corpus Christi.
El Paso
In far West Texas El Pasco is located between two mountain ranges in the abundant Chihuahuan Desert. The mountainy dirt is perfect for cyclist and you’re likely to see plenty of spandex about these rocky grounds. There’s most definitely a strong biking culture here. The adrenaline junkies can steer their bikes up the summit of North Franklin Mountain – a climb which takes you up 3,000 feet. Not for the faint hearted.
